How did the politicians react to a normal clinical situation?

They closed daycare centers, schools, stores, churches and businesses for months, isolated the elderly and left them to die alone.

The police banned people from reading books on a parked bench, hunted down young people outdoors and beat up peaceful demonstrators.

Politicians marginalized anhyone who questioned the justification of the measures. They had public TV announce that children were virus-carrying rats and that unvaccinated people were appendixes that did not belong to the national body. A language we have not heard for 75 years.

Usually government's power is limited by the courts, the media and science. Courts hardlhy examined the proportionality and only believed two witnesses, namely RKI and the Paul Ehrlich Institute.

In this way, the government was able to self-certify the necessity of lockdowns and vaccine mandates because the RKI and PEI report to the Minister of Health.

In addition, the courts sent to prison many doctors who followed their ethos and issued certificates to protect patients from interventions in their physical integrity.

Almost every known critic of the measures was criminalized, suspended, dismissed, arrested or subjected to a house search.
