ʿAbd Allāh Bin Sabaʾ and the Activities of Neo-Sabaʾites

Abd Allāh bin Sabaʾ al-Yahūdī is the Yemeni Jew who led a revolution against ʿUthmān (رضي الله عنه), the third caliph, and laid the foundations for what became Shīʿism, an anti-Sunni revolutionary sect. This sect became refuge to many esoteric and subversive movements throughout the centuries, all aimed at undermining Islām and diminishing its power.

This Sabaʾite movement was the nucleus for both the Rāfiḍah Shīʿah[1] and the Khārijites and it played a role in the dissension and civil strife that occured between the Prophet's Companions, following the assassination of ʿUthmān (رضي الله عنه) by its leaders. These groups expelled the Prophet’s Companions, in their generality, from the fold of Islām and while the former claimed loyalty to ʿAlī (رضي الله عنه), the fourth caliph, and exaggerated in his status, the latter were disloyal to ʿAlī (رضي الله عنه), considered him a mushrik (polytheist) and assassinated him.

Both of these groups comprise subversive, revolutionary movements initiated by Hypocrites under the guise of Social Justice and are Trojan-horse ideologies. Shīʿism is pure hypocrisy and disbelief[2] and hence useful (from the outside) for treachery and back-stabbing, as history has demonstrated. Khārijism is zeal, fervour, extremism and exaggeration, founded upon ignorance, and hence useful (from the inside) for civil strife, destabilisation and brute militarism.

The Jewish Encylopedia has an entry for ʿAbd Allāh bin Sabaʾ as follows:[3]

A Jew of Yemen, Arabia, of the seventh century, who settled in Medina and embraced Islam. Having adversely criticized Calif Othman's administration, he was banished from the town. Thence he went to Egypt, where he founded an antiothmanian sect, to promote the interests of Ali. On account of his learning he obtained great influence there, and formulated the doctrine that, just as every prophet had an assistant who afterward succeeded him, Mohammed's vizier was Ali, who had therefore been kept out of the califate by deceit. Othman had no legal claim whatever to the califate; and the general dissatisfaction with his government greatly contributed to the spread of Abdallah's teachings. Tradition relates that when Ali had assumed power, Abdallah ascribed divine honors to him by addressing him with the words, "Thou art Thou!" Thereupon Ali banished him to Madain. After Ali's assassination Abdallah is said to have taught that Ali was not dead but alive, and had never been killed; that a part of the Deity was hidden in him; and that after a certain time he would return to fill the earth with justice. Till then the divine character of Ali was to remain hidden in the imams, who temporarily filled his place. It is easy to see that the whole idea rests on that of the Messiah in combination with the legend of Elijah the prophet.

As for today, then Shīʿism is a cover for Persian Magians to seek vengeance against Islām and the Arabs (Sunni Islām) for ending their Persian Magian empire. Likewise, Khārijism, represented by groups such as al-Qaeda, Daesh (ISIS), is a tool for destabilising Muslim nations and throwing them into disarray and civil strife for third-party intervention and theft of land and mineral resources. And as for Sabaʾīsm, then this represents Jewish subversion of Islām through infiltration, dissimulation and hypocrisy, and it is as alive and kicking as Shīʿism and Khārijism.

In this article we want to briefly illustrate two examples of neo-Sabaʾism, which resemble the ideology and activities of ʿAbd Allāh bin Sabaʾ, in which jealous and hate-filled Hypocrites don the garb of Islām and seek to incite and agitate Muslims against their religious scholars and political leaders and governments to foment revolution and civil strife, and to turn them away from the Qurʾān and the Prophetic traditions.

This is part of a range of indirect tactics aimed at advancing and/or shielding Jewish Zionist militarism and its plans to establish Greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates, not just from the river to the sea, through terrorism, genocide and ethnic-cleansing. These intentions have been explicitly revealed and openly announced over the past two months, when the government of Benjamin Mileikowsky (Polish Askhenazi Jew), his military and the IDF justified the ethnic-cleansing of Gaza with the actions of Hamas—a Trojan-horse organisation which the Israeli-right supported specifically for this purpose.

What we saw and heard since 7th October 2023: Explict statements of genocidal intent from Jewish racists and ethno-supremacists. From politicians, rabbis, military leaders, ex-ministers. Thousands of videos and pictures of men, women, children and babies bombed and buried under rubble, targeted on purpose. Collective punishment. Cutting off of water, electricity and food and medical supplies. Bombing of homes, hospitals and places of worship, all under the guise of "defeating Hamas", trying to make fools and idiots of people. Citing the biblical command to genocide “Amalek”. Describing Palestinian Arabs as “human animals”. Justifying the killing of children and babies in case they (decades from now) become fighters and resisters of occupation. Israeli Tiktokers and IDF soldiers posting racist videos, mocking the death of children and babies, revealing their hatred and genocidal intent, thereby destroying, in the shortest time possible, the Hasbara propaganda work done over the years to maintain a clean image for the occupation.

The Rabbi kindly explains to us how amazing it is that even breastfed babies should be slaughtered, pre-emptively, alongside women, children and livestock, so that no memory is left from the “filthy nation” being genocided, according to the Torah, as he states. Neo-Sabaʾite Mossad “Arabist” Leading ISIS in Libya After Arab-Spring Infiltration in Egypt

Jewish intelligence agencies, such as Mossad, produce “Arabists”, fluent in Arabic and Islamic sciences, and place them within what appear to be on the surface to be organic currents and reactions (such as the “Arab Spring”), so they can gradually gain a foothold and become intellectual, political, or even, in this case, religious and military leaders. These agents then engage in activities aimed at undermining stability in Muslim nations, as part of wider agendas.

Israeli Website Claims ISIS Commander Revealed as Mossad Agent

There has long been speculation regarding ties between the Israeli government and the terror group Daesh, otherwise known as the Islamic State. Such speculation has been fueled by Israel’s reference to Daesh as a “useful tool” and its acknowledgment that it views a Syria under complete Daesh control as preferable to the continuation of the current Syrian government. It is supported as well by the extensive aid and even medical treatments that Daesh militants have received from Israel. However, allegations have recently emerged that could suggest that the connection is even deeper than previously believed.

According to a report from the Israeli website Inian Merkazi and Abna news agency, Libyan security forces arrested a Daesh commander in the city of Benghazi — only to find out soon after that the man they had captured, Ephraim Benjamin, was also an agent of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence service. Benjamin, who was known in Libya as Abu Hafs, had begun work in Libya after the 2011 NATO-led invasion of Libya that ousted former leader Muammar Gaddafi.

Middle East Monitor reported that Hafs/Benjamin was said to have become a prominent imam in a Benghazi mosque, before becoming a Daesh leader who commanded more than 200 fighters. Middle East Monitor has since removed the report from its site.

Libyan authorities have allegedly accused Benjamin of gathering intelligence information on Daesh for Mossad and Middle East Monitor noted that some Libyan news outlets took to calling him the “Mossad shiekh.” Inian Merkazi suggested that Benjamin’s arrest showed that Mossad was influential in the rise of Daesh in the region, given that Benjamin began work in Libya in 2011 while Daesh did not begin operation in Libya until 2015.

However, MintPress News was unable to independently verify the claims of Inian Merkaz linking the Daesh commander to the Israeli Mossad.

Other regional media outlets, such as Masr Alarabia, have described Benjamin as being one of Mossad’s “Arabists” — Mossad agents with Arab features who fluently speak Arabic and use local dialects. Such “Arabists” have gained a reputation for infiltrating Palestinian protests and activist organizations, as well as assassinating prominent Palestinians who are vocally against the Israeli occupation.

However, now it appears that Mossad “Arabists” may be involved in more than the suppressing Palestinian dissent. Given that Israel has repeatedly stated it does not want Daesh to be defeated, it is clear that Benjamin, who allegedly commanded hundreds of men in Daesh, was not “gathering intelligence” in order to defeat Daesh but rather to strengthen it.

Given the reports of Benjamin’s arrest, last year’s strange-seeming statement by Israel’s military intelligence chief, Maj. Gen. Herzi Halevy, makes more sense. Halevy had stated that Israel does not want to see Daesh defeated and also had expressed concern about the recent offensives against Daesh territory, lamenting the “most difficult” situation the group had found itself in at the time. He further added that Israel would do “all we can so as to not find ourselves in such a situation” where Daesh faces defeat.

In light of Benjamin’s arrest, part of Halevy’s concern for Daesh may have been born out of the fear that a Daesh defeat could put the lives of Mossad agents, as well as years of their work within Daesh, at risk.

Daesh has long been regarded by Israeli think tanks and politicians as a “strategic tool” for furthering Western and Israeli goals in the region. In the case of Syria, Daesh was seen as a covert means of overthrowing Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, an event that Israeli intelligence believed would result in Iran’s loss of “its only ally” in the region.

On a larger scale, however, Daesh ultimately serves to help divide whole nations — like Iraq, Syria and others — into pieces. This is a key component of the Israeli strategic plan, otherwise known as the Yinon plan, to dominate the Middle East by dividing and then conquering its neighbors.

With allegations of Israel’s direct involvement in facilitating the terror group’s activities continuing to grow, it’s become increasingly difficult to defend the long-standing assertion that Israel has been a “neutral” figure in the Syrian conflict and the rise of Daesh.

Mossad agent who infiltrated ISIS arrested in Libya

The Israeli spy was arrested in Benghazi, according to several news sources

An Israeli intelligence officer has been arrested by Libyan security forces in the northeastern city of Benghazi, according to a leading Israeli website called Inian Merkazi.

The Mossad agent had infiltrated the ranks of the so called Islamic State in Libya. It is also being reported that the spy, who has been identified as Ephraim Benjamin, had intermingled with local Libyans during the 2011 revolution that resulted in the ousting of Muammar Gaddafi. An Arabic website called Masr Alarabia have claimed that Benjamin was one of Mossad's 'Arabists' - agents who are characterized by Arab features, who speak Arabic fluently and are well versed in the Islamic scriptures.

Inian Merkazi also report that Benjamin had risen to become a prominent imam of a large mosque in Benghazi which is Libya's second largest city. Being an imam, his reputation and popularity soared, which later saw him become a commander for the Islamic State with at least 200 fighters under his charge.

Benjamin went by the alias Abu Hafs.

Neo-Sabaʾite Luai Ahmed Shilling For Jewish Zionist Militarism While Denigrating Islām, Muslims, the Qurʾān and the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)

During the era of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) the Hypocrites would conceal their disbelief and hypocrisy while outwardly displaying faith and loyalty and their affair would be hidden to the generality of the Muslims. When acts of hypocrisy would manifest from them, they would shield themselves with excuses and false oaths, for fear of exposing their inward reality.

The scholars of the Muslims have explained that whoever openly displays Islām is treated as a Muslim, but not the one about whom hypocrisy and heresy is open, established, and known with clear evidence.[4]

Thus, among the Hypocrites are those who hypocrisy (in belief) is out in the open, in full display, and with hypocrisy and disbelief rolling straight off their tongue, despite them ascribing to Islām. They are unlike the Hypocrites in the era of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم), because the Muslims were strong and dominant, so they sought to conceal themselves out of fear. However, in other circumstances, the Hypocrites are not afraid to manifest their hypocrisy more openly.

Ḥuḍhayfah bin al-Yamān (رضي الله عنه) said:[5]

The Hypocrites today are more evil than those in the era of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم), they used to conceal [their hypocrisy], but today, they make open [their hypocrisy].

Regarding the verse: “And had We willed, We would certainly have shown them to you and you would have known them by their marks. But you will surely know them (henceforth) by the deviated tone of (their) speech (which reveals their intentions and agendas) and Allāh knows all your deeds (and willl recompense you for them).” (47:30-) Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah commented:[6]

So He swore that it inevitable that the Hypocrites are known through their tone of speech, and He attached knowledge of them through their marks with [His] will. This is because the external manifestation of what is in the soul of a man through his speech is more apparent than its manifestation upon the expressions of his face. And it has been said: “No one concealed a secret except that Allāh makes it manifest upon the expressions of his face or slips of his tongue.” So when it can be known through the likes of this what is in the soul of a person without being informed of it, then when it is accompanied with him informing about it, then it is greater in acquisition of knowledge.

So this Luai, in his delusion, speaks of himself as among the Muslims, “I am a Muslim from Yemen…”, “We Muslims…” and so on, and then speaks with open proclamations of disbelief in the sentences that follow, openly proclaiming his hatred of Islām and Muslims while trying to draw them into his web of hypocrisy (nifāq), indicating that he has the intellect of a donkey, thinking he can deceive Allāh (عز وجل) the Lord of Abraham, Moses and Jesus, and that he can deceive the Muslim nation, while openly announcing his scheme and subterfuge for all to see, and making clear and open statements of disbelief and rejection of Islām.

What a far stretch from the original Sabaʾītes who managed to achieve what they did by concealing their hypocrisy and disbelief.

As for his propaganda, there is no need to address or mention that in detail, for when we have certain knowledge that a person is in the ranks of the Hypocrites, then his affair is clear in itself. And if there is any benefit in refuting the doubts he spreads, then that can be addressed separately.

In essence, he combines between a) providing cover for the Jewish Zionists and their religious belief that what is between the Nile and the Euphrates is theirs and that it is to be taken by military conquest, and they are explicit about this, it is not the case that they just want to live peacefully with their neighbours, and b) denigrating Islām, the Muslims and the Arabs and making them out to be the hostile aggressors.

1. There are many sects of Shīʿism and those referred to in this article are the mainstream Twelver Shīʿites and other more extreme sects. Zaydism on the other hand is a light form of Shīʿism and they do not harbour the enmity of the Twelvers. Iran has sought to convert Zaydis in Yemen to Twelver Shīʿism, and from their proxies in the region are the Houthīs.
2. Shīʿism is founded on the doctrine that ʿAlī (رضي الله عنه) was the true recipient of revelation and was supposed to be the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم), that Jibrīl (عليه السلام) made a mistake, and that the Qurʾān is altered and incomplete and that the Prophet’s Companions (with a few exceptions) were disbelievers, and that ʿAlī and his offspring have divine qualities, and that their Imāms have knowledge of the unseen and numerous other affairs of kufr and shirk. The Muslim scholars consider their scholars and leaders to be disbelievers and as for the common-folk, then some scholars hold the view that the proof must be established agains them, to remove the excuse of ignorance, before they are judged disbelievers in the life of this world.
